I want tail lights and backup lights that go under the stock lenses that look like they are made to be there yet maximum output. Backup lights need to be fairly directional as I back my boat into a dark boat launch quite often. I want to be able to look through the lens and see the two bulbs looking similar to each other, yet both be high output LED. I have popcorn looking ones in the backups now and I don't think they go deep they are very bright but don't go very long.
As for the headlights, I simply can't see well enough at night. Low beams are okay, but when I put the high beams on it doesn't go any further down the road it makes the signs brighter that's it. I drive dark mornings over mountain passes with deer and elk walking on and along side the highway. I need as much vision distance as I can get.
I would like a reasonably priced solution to all of my forward facing lighting.
Has anybody here, gone through this process, and has complete lighting system that will look like it belongs, and not like something that was pieced together.
Thanks
For LED Headlights, the XHP series I sell on my site are WIDELY popular and give great light output. For the 2015/2016 you'd need a pair for your lows and a pair for your highs.
As for your reverse lights. You won't find a GOOD LED light that looks like your stock... for the fact that you need a lot of LED diodes to give a lot of light, rather then a SINGLE diode. Sure you can find them, but you won't get light output.
On my site you want the XP80 reverse lights which are so bright, it's all you will need. I have dual 7" reverse lights under my truck but NEVER Use them because the XP80 is so damn bright. The XP80 is made by Diode Dynamics which is a very good brand (which is why I sell them).
Just head over to my site and go to the VEHICLE SPECIFIC area, and you'll see all the various bulbs available.
Thanks for your reply. It's not that I want stock looking bulbs.. rather matching appearance tail and back up when you look through the lens. What is the warranty on your products?
4x4, what are the legal requirements for changing headlights to the led? I know here in VA I had some HIDs in my last vehicle that were not stock, and was told when getting state inspection that they were not legal. Is it different for the LED swap? I'm totally ignorant to the laws in regards to this, any input?
I am aware that when people put xenon's into a halogen housing without a proper project retrofit, the light output just blinds the drivers of oncoming cars, and is horrible. Would switching to LED be the same?
I am also curious about the LED's here. I am aware that when people put xenon's into a halogen housing without a proper project retrofit, the light output just blinds the drivers of oncoming cars, and is horrible. Would switching to LED be the same?
Doesn't look like your question will get answered either. You'd think someone who sells the things would want to answer any and every question asked to gain as many customers as possible, but this moron is apparently independently wealthy and doesn't care about our business.
There are many other vendors out there that will gladly take my hard earned money for the same/better product, so it's no issue for me!

I'm new here, but I know coming from the Audi world that The Retrofit Source was a great website and source of info. Maybe I'll check them out when I actually have a few bucks for mods

You have 6 posts here and you are calling me a moron? Maybe you outta find a new website to post on, nobody tolerates that kind of attitude around these parts.
There are no laws against LED that I'm aware of, unlike the laws that they put out years ago about HID.
Wildcat I sell all of TRS products so when you are ready, let me know. TRS is mainly about HID systems however, not a lot on LED (yet, I'm told they are adding some LED products slowly)
