I don't have side by sides yet of the Ford LED. I've been meaning to do it and a friend of mine has the OEM LED Lighting so maybe I'll get together with him this week and take some photos to compare.

Halogens don't last long... well they can. I had stock halogens from the factory last me about 6 years on my old truck. Then again I've had trucks where I'm replacing the bulbs every few months.

The big thing with HID and Halogen is DO NOT touch the bulb. If you do, wipe it with an alcohol pad.

With LEDs, you can abuse them (if you've seen my videos) because it's a diode, not a gas/filament

Anything other than what came from the factory is illegal. It really depends on your local jurisdiction or inspection on how strict it is enforced.
