XLT 302a versus Lariat 501A
I'm getting serious about ordering a new F150 and will likely be ready as soon as the incentives are right.
I'm trying to decide between the XLT 302A and the Lariat 501A
It looks like the Lariat I will configure has the power fold tow mirrors and dual zone climate control, better headlights, leather, larger display and push button start and a few other options.
Is there a place where the options are displayed side by side so I can compare what I get stepping up to the Lariat model?
It's pretty hard comparing the two packages as I can't find a side by side comparison.
All I know is the Lariat is 4K more and the incentives on average will be 3K less. It looks like a 7K upgrade for the Lariat.
Has anyone here compared the packages and knows the differences?

501a will have the same headlights as the 302a. 502a get the led headlights.

I had the same issue when I was shopping. I never found anything detailed enough. The brochure was helpful to some extent. Unfortunately, there isn't a downloadable version right now. Perhaps get one from the dealer. I then went to the build website and then did a cut and paste from each onto a spreadsheet. It helped. I ultimately just went to the dealer and had the salesman pull two of them side by side away from everyone else and I went back and forth between them (without the salesman). It helped to see all the differences in the interior trim, steering wheel, seats, LED lighting and things like 4A (which wouldn't matter at all if you are going 2WD).
I ultimately decided I was a Lariat trim kind of person and spent the money. Maybe a trip to the dealer is in order, as what may not seem important will be and others less important than you thought.

Are you planning to get a 4x4? If so, the Lariat will also have the 4A option, if that's a factor for your decision.
I'm not aware of a decent comparison tool. I ended up familiarizing myself with the option packages, and used the window sticker as a guide.

I went through the same this spring... my previous two trucks were a 2013 Lariat 502 and a 2011 FX4 Lux (same as 502). I ended up with a XLT 302 and added Katskin leather. Unless you're getting into a 502, IMO you're not getting that much more for the money other than the Lariat tag on the sides. As someone who has always bought the upper end in vehicles, I can honestly say I have absolutely zero regrets buying my 302 over a Lariat this time.
Here was my posting doing the same... https://www.f150forum.com/f118/poll-...at-xlt-380199/

10 way heated cooled front drivers/passenger seats. Upgrade to center console and get floor shifter and a ton of storage.
Push Button Start
Upgraded dash display
Sync3 with 8" display (though some packages in XLT have this display too)
Dual Zone Automatic climate control
4a 4WD for the 4x4
Leather seating surfaces
BLIS (standard, optional on XLT)
A whole bunch of wiring and modules that are not in XLT so you can add things like Adaptive Cruise, etc.
