What approximate area of the country are you in? I'd of loved to of gotten my hands on that! Way less than my Lariat was...

I'm on the same boat, but not in a hurry, so I may wait until the 2016s come out and see if they have fixed the myriad of issues I am seeing on these boards with the 2015s.
Namely, cooled seats, torque converter issues, warped dashes, harsh downshift, and the list goes on and on. Granted, this may be a small number in the grand scheme of things, but with 65 pages of complaints on cooled seats issue alone (2555 replies ), it gives me time to pause and reason that perhaps is better to wait (and get Sync 3 while at it).
Perhaps you will get a trouble free truck, perhaps not. It's a roll of the dice.

there are lot more rebates on XLT than platinum...just saying. also area dependent.

at least in September there was 3500 rebate on XLT and only 1000 on platinum..

I think 11k off Platinum is great deal.

Do the math. Save 11k on the 2015 and then invest somewhere between 2-4k to get Sync 3 for it later. Or get the 2016 and hope there are enough incentives to drop the price down to make it worth the wait.

I personally really like it. It's the wave of the future. All planes and helicopters are going to glass cockpits with MFD's Multi Function Displays. The S92 Heli's we use alot have 5 of them all in a row.

Morries.

I was there Tuesday, it was the one in front on a pedestal. Black, Platinum, most options. He was really pushing it. But I want a blue 2016 Lariat, so....

I think it must be this one, they now call it "used":
