Default Windshield Shade

Has anyone found a solar shade that works well in the truck and stores easily?

A quick internet search yields loads of options; ease of use is my#1 priority.

Appreciate any thoughts.

I ordered a Covercraft UVS100 for my 2016 because they are top quality and I had one for my 2011. However, I ended up returning it because the fit was very poor compared the one I had for my old truck. It was several inches short on both ends.

I eneded up with a Heatshield which fits well and is easier to install than the Covercraft was. The Heatshield rolls up which is a bit of a pain for storage but makes it easier to install than the accordian style. If you have a crew cab, it fits under the back seat when not in use.

I got a XL round 'spring' shade from the WalMart that works well. Full coverage & stays up with the visors down. Folds into about a 10-12" circle, fits in seatback pocket.

I second the Covercraft 100, by far the best sunscreen. Easy to put on and easy to take off. I don't know about my Ford screen but my BMW one came with a storage bag.

I bought the Weathertech windshield shade specific to my truck. Fit is really nice. It does not roll up and store easily, but I have pleanyt of real estate on the back seat.

A third for the weather tech sun shield. I never roll mine, and started to fold in instead. A little easier to deal with that way. This is my third weather tech shield. I had one for the 2013 edge I traded for my truck, and one for the wife's cx5. The fit on all three is perfect.

This is what I have. After folding it I put it between the passenger seat and console. Had knee in my last truck for 7 years and it never came apart.
