I agree. I don't want to go so dark that it makes my vehicle standout as trying to conceal something. Mostly I'm just trying to cut down on the glare and the heat in the vehicle. Some criminals may target tinted vehicles to break into thinking there is something expensive inside. And it can create a danger between the driver of the vehicles and police officers if they can't see where the drivers hands are reaching and what for.

It depends on the color of the lenses in your glasses. Mine are a gray or black color and the windshield tint makes certain colors appear different. For instance, a white car might have a bluish hue. I don't get any odd lines across the windshield really. Basically, it's not that noticeable with polarized glasses.

I envy those of you who can tint your front windows beyond 70% (the legal limit in CA, which is stock tint)...

I have seen those lines before. Mostly on tint that were put on by an owner themselves. Mine was professionally installed and don't see much or anything at all as far as lines go.

I have not had an issue with polarized sunglass or regular sunglass with the ceramic tint in any of my vehicles.

Oakley Prizm lenses are a problem looking out of any tint- at least with the 3M line (Color Stable series & Crystalline & Crystaline).

I got a new pair and it makes the film look rippled and oily. Took them to the tint shop and even they were suprised as what you see. The glasses went back to Oakley.

My regular polarized lenses are fine.

I put 5% over the factory color on the back window and it IS extremely dark......
left the back windows alone, and did 20% on the front.
Have a black interior, so still looks pretty dark from the outside, but inside, its manageable.

I have Ziebart NCP (ceramic) tint on all glass. 78% on all glass, (windshield, front & rear doors, twin-panel and rear windows. I also have the Intra-Tech Window shade. It didn't change the darkness of any windows but cut the heat by 40% and I can touch the steering wheel or put my arm on the door by the window and feel no heat.

I have 5% on the front doors and 20% on the rear and Air 80 on the windshield and sometimes it can be challenging to drive at night in some areas
