Default Will they rub?

Looking to get wheels. Fuel vapors are the front runners. RC 2" level. 20x9 +1 offset...305/55/20 Mickey Thompson tires. Anyone running a similar setup? Really would rather not trim/cut anything but still looking for a somewhat aggressve look.

You should not have any problems with that setup at all. I am also going to 305/55/20 BFG's when I change my 275/60/20's. I have Fuel Couplers, 20 x 9 with a +1 offset and my friend who set up my current wheels has told me 305's will not be an issue. I also know a number of people around here with a similar setup and they have no rubbing or trimming issues.

You should not have a problem, I put the 20'' x 9'' XD series with 18mm offset with BF Goodrich Ko-2 285/65R20 with no rubbing and no cutting. I did spread the crash bars by backing off the two bolts on each one, the back crash bar move back about 3/8'' or more, the front a1/4''. My tires are now flush with the oem fender molding..

I'm getting 20x9 Fuel Vapors (+20) with my 305/55 Toyo R/Ts installed in about an hour. I'll post some pics when it's done...

I went with this setup on my 2018, except went with Open Country RT and Pro Comp level. No rubbing. I think you will be happy with it!

Shop had to cancel so it'll be sometime this week (hopefully). I'll post'em up when done.

I am very interested in how this goes. I have 20 X9 Fuel Off-road Boost 20x9 with 305/55/R20’s. I put the wheels on at the stock height and had serious rubbing on both crash bars. The rubbing was bad enough that I don’t see how a 2 inch level would do enough to keep it from rubbing, especially on bumps. Let me know what, if anything, the shop has to do to get them to fit without rubbing.

Thanks

I'm running 20x10 Fuel Lethals now with -12 offset and had serious rubbing on the crash bars (with a 2" RC level). The shop that did the install trimmed the front and rear crash bars to make them fit (didn't cut them off, trimmed the tire side of the bars). Now that was with a -12 offset. Once I get the +20 on, we'll see if it would have rubbed sans trimming. I assume it would, but I'll report back for sure once they're installed.

I will definitely let you know bud...Just ordered fuel hydro 20x9 +1 offset with ridge grapplers 305/55/20 and they will be on by the end of the week, but guy at shop said he's 100% sure they won't rub....hard not to take his word for it as he (the owner) and 2 of his techs all have leveled or lifted f150s lol.

Finally got them installed this weekend. 20x9 Fuel Vapors with +20 offset. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t rub on untrimmed crash bars. They definitely won’t run on mine since they were trimmed for the -12 wheels I had on previously. Really happy with the way this came out. Was not a fan of the tires hanging out beyond the flares with the -12 offset wheels.
