Who regrets their bed choice?
I like the look of the stubby 5.5' bed, but I often wonder if the 6.5' bed is a better choice. Well, I know it is once you add a tool box but I guess I am wondering if the 6.5' bed makes the truck look awkward or simply too long. I have yet to see one in person.

I've owned both... I liked the utility of the 6.5 bed but didn't care for the look on my 13. That being said if I was going to put a tool box back there I would get the 6.5 bed.
I think the 15's look pretty good with the 6.5 bed. Saw a 15 platinum with it and it looked really good...

I had a 6.5 bed in a Silverado extended cab before I got my Screw 5.5 bed. I thought I would miss the bed space but I haven't at all. Granted I'm no contractor, more of a "lifestyle" truck for me. (Don't ya love that term? Lol!).
No way in heck could I even think about getting a Screw with a 6.5 bed in my garage either.
I guess my eyes are so used to seeing short bed Screws (all brands) that I think the 6.5 bed looks way long!

I had a 5.5 bed before and went with the 6.5 this time. Now every time I see a 5.5 bed I think it looks like an Explorer Sport Trac. The 6.5 looks like a truck.

Driving my 4th F150. The previous 3 were 6.5 beds. Have my first 5.5 now.
The 6.5 look better in my opinion, but not too many others. I asked @15 people their opinions and all but one said they thought the 5.5 was the better bed. Shorter with better turning radius.
They weren't wrong about the turning. Plenty of times in 3 weeks of ownership that I wouldn't have made a turn or turn around with the long bed.
Took a long road trip and ran out of bed space. That sucked but after more creative packing, I got everything under my cover. Only time besides the "better look" of the long bed, that I felt I made the wrong choice.
The reason I asked around on people's opinions is that I usually sell my trucks after 3-4 years and for some reason selling a 6.5 ft bed is harder. Tell me how many 6.5 vs 5.5 ft beds you see on dealer lots.
Time will tell if I made the right choice. I still think the longer bed looks better. 😜
