Default Wheel Well Liners

Hey Folks,

The F-150 that I am buying doesn't come with the $180 wheel well liners. Are these easy to add aftermarket? It looks a little unfinished under there without the liners. Should be standard.

Regards,
John

Yes, they should be standard. However they are extremely easy to install, just pull the rear wheels off first.

You really don't need to remove the wheels to install them. I bought some of the Husky liners last year and left them out in the sun for a few hours and they went straight in.

I just put in some Huskys a few days ago. No prep required....just maneuver them into place and screw / clip them in. Took about 15 minutes per wheel well.

I know this is a dumb question (sorry)... What is the purpose of wheel well liners?

Bought the OEM ones last week ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/131731740487?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT )

No need to remove the wheels and they look great. Much much easier to clean now.

No such thing a a dumb question. The wheel well liners are for aesthetics and they keep things cleaner and in my opinion quieter. The last two trucks I bought had them from the factory but I did install a set on my 2011. As others have mentioned, it is an easy install and you should be able to do it without removing the wheels. The sun is your friend on the last point and I agree, they should be a standard feature.

I installed OEM liners on mine; no need to remove the wheels. OEM and Husky are about the same price, I just prefer OEM products........they always fit perfectly.

OEM for me. finishes off the wheelwells and they look OEM. 15 minute install with the wheels on. Easy peasy.

I also just installed the OEM liners. I used the Ford Accessories website to order. Check all the dealers in your area as the prices seem to be different for each dealer. I paid $20 less by shopping the local dealers over my assigned dealer.
