Question What's this feature called?

So I was in Denver this week for work and my rental was an Escape. It had the feature where you can leave the key in your pocket and it unlocks the doors when you put your hand on the handle. What is that option called? And is it feasible to retro-install it on a 2016 F150 that doesn't have it?

On 2015+ F-150s the feature is called "intelligent access with push button start". It is a standard feature for Lariat and above trim levels. As far as retrofitting, I do not believe I have read about any other members successfully adding this to their XL, XLT trucks.

It's called "the catch up to Honda 2010" feature... Yeah it's new to ford, but every import has had it for the last 5 years.

WRONG, my 4 year old Explorer has it, and I think it was available on the 2011.
