Default What is this thing?

I didn't snap a picture but i can if needed. I am doing some wheel well trimming to stuff some wide tires in my 2015 f150 crew cab 4x4. At the back of the wheel well right behind the liner is a very bulky piece of white plastic. It almost looks like it caps the end of the frame? There is a bunch of sealing compound all around it too. Trying to figure out what it is and what it does because its in my way!

You certainly set yourself up for those replies. Seriously, post a quick pic and we will try to identify the piece in question.

I know what it is. I've seen it before... there actually a lot of them on this forum.

It's a useless post.

I've seen what you're talking about...I'm not sure what it is either.

Those two "bulky pieces of plastic" are to keep from damaging the underside of your bed if the truck bottoms out.
