Default Went to zero the equalization

In forscan under ACM

I went to 727-01-02 x*xx xx There was an A in the asterix position, not a number. A zero returned an error so I left it as it was. I saw no reference to the A setting. Any thoughts??

You should list the error you received when you changed the value. If it was an “error” relating to checksum, that is normal and you can continue writing the value. The Forscan tuitorials cover the checksum explanation.

The "A" Is because you have the kicker sub, I have the same on my truck (7 Speaker & Ford OEM Kicker Sub).*Note* You cannot change the setting 727-01-02 "00" trying to defeat the factory EQ, because the sub will loose it's crossover and output full range signal. With the OEM Kicker Sub the door speakers get a high pass filter applied, and the sub output gets a low pass filter applied. I tried every 727-01-02 setting possible, and the results were the sub output always goes full range so we are stuck using the Kicker EQ/Crossover settings (OA)

You also have to understand many of these settings in the spreadsheet are not from an F150, they are from similar Ford vehicles that share the settings but the limitation is is the modules in the F150. The only way anyone finds out what works is by trying the different settings and then test to see what happens.

Ill have to see if there is another setting that activates the harness for the sub. I'm using an underseat sub with a separate amp with built in adjustable crossover.

In that case you don't have to worry about the factory crossover. The best settings would be the trucks original settings but make these changes:
727-01-01 xxx9 xxxx xxxx
727-01-02 0000 xx

This will give you the flat output without any EQ, enable the factory sub output, and is used for a 7 speaker truck. If your truck doesn't have a centre channel speaker and is only a 6 speaker truck then change the 9 to a 8. Always backup/save the original truck settings before you make any changes.

Hope that helps.
