Waze and Sync 3

It is my understanding that the latest Sync update was Ford doing their part for Waze functionality . At this point we are just waiting on a Waze app update to get this functioning. Waze recently announced that it would be within the month of April.

That's right. Apple has prevented Waze from working with CarPlay in favor of it's Apple Maps product. However, Waze has worked with Ford to integrate it directly into the Sync3. So, no CarPlay needed. I believe that it will require the updated USB hub in order to work correctly. Not 100% positive of that though.

Again we are waiting on Waze to release the update. Check the APP store or iStore or what ever they call it and see if Waze is updated. If not then you wil have to wait until Waze releases it's update. Ford has done it's part.

Waze hasn't release yet
Waze is not ready for ios yet... We are waiting for Waze to give the update. In order to use it. You will need to DISABLE car play. It will be use through Ford Applink... much like using Sygic... Rumored to be in April.... Update Sync 3.0.. Ford is ready, but not WAZE
