Waze and Sync 3

OK, I finally got it to work. I plugged in a different iPhone and disabled CarPlay, then I turned my truck off for a while while leaving my main phone plugged in, and when I turned the truck back on with the phone still plugged in it was there!

Waze is working with sync 3 applink
You would think that Waves or ford would explain to you how to get it working waves did not even tell you that it was ready to run I just got mind to work don’t forget to enable app link on the sync and Waze has to be running than plug into usb

My just showed up out of the blue after two days of trying. Like everyone says though, it’s very laggy and only mirrors your phone. If you leave the Waze app open on the phone it will work, once you go to messages or anything else it goes away. May as well use your mounted phone instead. Pretty useless if you ask me. Maybe Apple will eventually allow it through CarPlay. I won’t be using this feature.
