don't order the 30 duro one. it's too sticky and soft and doesn't install correctly. i just spent 2 hours trying to get the bolts in but the rubber would just keep sticking to the bolts and also squishing so the bolts would never torque up properly.

i just orderd the 50 duro to see if that will work.

side note: i removed the pin and put int he bolt. i did not notice any difference in teh vibrations. I did zip tie up some of the brake cable, that did seem to help a little but i can still feel some vibration thru the dead pedal.

Pull the carpet back and you'll find a hard foam piece right at the front. This is the dead pedal but goes all the way to the center console. Pull it out, it's held in by some poppers and go for a ride. This got rid of all the floor vibes I was getting. The only place you can notice it's gone is the dead pedal as it goes to the floor now but it's not a problem at all. If you don't like it you can always put the foam piece back in.

Drove my buddy's brand-new (350 miles) 2016 F150 XLT 5.0L V8 and it also had the pedal vibration issue just like my 2015 Lariat Ecoboost.

Unfortunately, driving out of town this past weekend I once again noticed the pedal vibration even after the sorbothane install. I was driving straight into a strong head wind slash cross wind for my entire trip and felt the vibration most of the way. Fortunately I was able to set the cruise for the majority of the way so that helped.

From the beginning I've noticed this issue for me is far worse when it's very windy. I don't know what it is that causes it but it is frustrating when I notice it. I might have to start applying some of the other proposed solutions. Sigh.

As MacLeod mentioned, pull the foam piece out under the carpet. I did that and I have zero floor vibrations of any kind. That plus a double layer of sorbothane and some washers on the front of the accelerator bolts and mine is Lexus smooth now.

Here's what the foam piece looks like.

Edit to add: I stuffed a ~2" thick block of sorbothane under the carpet in the dead pedal area to get rid of the squishy feeling.

Default Vibration through gas pedal

I took mine out. Also taped up some loose wires inside the the doorsill, and on the floorboard. I checked the parking brake cable inside and outside the cab, it seemed tight. I'll take it out tomorrow morning and report back.

Thanks, @Blake (and @MacLeod) - I will look at this as well.

Do you remember what size the new bolts you bought were to fasten the pedal assembly back down after the sorbothane install? I may purchase the sorbothane washers like you did and will buy the new bolts at the same time. Thanks.

Pic before I added the 4th washer below the assembly...pedal assembly goes in the gap shown on the bolt. MacLeod you're the man!

Here are the pix...

This is the latest stuff I used, worked better than the previous dynamat.

Isolate It: Sorbothane Vibration Isolation Washer 70 Duro with 3M Adhesive (.45" ID - 1" OD - .19" H) - 8 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009M92WHY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RpLBxbKCT2BYT

and

Isolate It!: Sorbothane Vibration Damping Sheet Stock 50 Duro (1/4 x 12 x 12in) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004LYGH3U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_xqLBxbE1R9HCC

I'd recommend the sheet instead of the washers, just is a bit of a pita to trim and get installed. The washers are soft and tear easily. The bolts are M8 flange bolts at 2.25" in length, but remember I have two layers of sorbothane between the pedal and floor and also used a 1/2" worth of firmer rubber washers shown in the previous pics between the bolt head and front of assembly.

I'd recommend getting 2" and 2.25" bolts as I've had some issues bottoming out before snug depending how many layers you do. The washers between the bolt head and pedal assembly are very important, as before I did those of still get vibes occasionally. I found them at my local Ace.

Thanks for the additional info, Blake. Appreciate it. Just to confirm, you don’t recommend the original rubber washers you used because they were soft and tear easily, however, you DO recommend the sorbothane washers between the bolt head and pedal assembly. Is that correct?

Right now, I currently have the 1/8” sorbothane pad under the pedal assembly but may double it up to add additional dampening. Thanks.
