I wonder what the tolerance is on these trucks since they're so light? I wonder if they'd vibrate less or none at all if they were heavier?

I had a 2019 XLT 2wd loaner and it rode really nice. Most recently I drove a fully loaded 2019 Lariat FX4 that vibrated and rode worse than my 2016 with 35" tires. I have no idea why Ford can't figure this out.

I've wondered that myself. I had 2 aluminum f-150's before this one and they were smooth as glass. Don't know what makes this one different.

I wish you all luck. After chasing a fix for my 2016 for 3 years, I got rid of it. Very disappointing.

Tires is step 1, driveshaft is step 2. Let’s us know how it turns out.

Replacing with a Ram is Step 3.

2018 Lariat FX4 3.5EB here. Harmonics above 70 mph and was getting worse. Re-balanced and rotated twice with no improvement. Pulled Goodyear wranglers at 27K miles and replaced with Cooper AT3 XLT's in stock 20" size. Seems to be much better, but need more long highways trips for final results.

BTW: When I had my truck in for body work, my rental was a Ram 1500 with Hemi, buttery smooth ride at all speeds with 20" wheels.

Edit 11/17/19:
After many long trips on new Cooper AT3's, truck is much smoother and minimal tire noise.

Exactly what I did. Traded my vibrating F150 for a 2019 Ram (not the new style). No vibrations at all. I also had a 2018 Ram rental last year when my F150 was in for body repairs and was the first time I’d ever driven one. I wanted to keep the rental as it drove so smoothly.
