If the suggestions above don't resolve the text issues, try performing a module reset and pair the phone back with a clean connection. To reset the module: Select radio > Hold the power button (center of the volume ****) + the right-seek button at the same time for up to 5 seconds. Keep me posted!

Got it. I have MFT. As others said, on it you hold the command button for 3 seconds and that opens Siri. Then use Siri to send text. I can't send text just with MFT

Yea, it's an issue with how Apple sets up the Bluetooth chip in iPhones. It's much better than it used to be. Before the last MFT update you had to use the button on your phone to bring up Siri.
