Default Using Nav while in Motion

I have searched and searched with no definite answer. Is there any way to disable the safety features so the nav can be used while in motion? Using voice commands works about like a screen door on a submarine. It's even worse in the wife's 2014 explorer.

I believe it is not possible/not discovered yet on Sync3.

I've never had issues with voice commands, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to hack the sync system to disable the safety feature. I would assume it doesn't use truck data to gauge if it's moving or not since it has GPS data...

Not sure on Sync2, I believe it was do-able on the pre-15 trucks & other Sync2 vehicles.
Would like to do the same on our Flex.

Unless a LockPick will work, your only bet is Voice Cammands....

more or less... same here. It's not perfect but usually acceptable accuracy.

The voice system is "Rigid" though... I have the "assistant prompts" turned on so I know how to ask for what I want. My old car, voice wasn't even an option... the the rigid commands are an improvement over having to stop and type.

I pretty certain I remember reading in the Forscan thread, that for 2015's with my ford touch this can be turned on with Forscan. You may want to check there. I hope I am right, because I will be looking at doing it myself once I get around to actually being brave enough to try forscan.
