I got the Corrosion Free treatment done at a Canadian Tire in Windsor. They did a great job and spent about 1.5 hrs spraying my truck! I told them to not do any drilling at all. They just stuck the wand into some of the existing drain holes in the doors and door sills and sprayed what they could. I'm not that worried about the AL corroding and didn't want to void the factory corrosion warranty, in case there is some sort of recall, etc. I also can't stand the thought of someone drilling into my brand new truck......

I did the same. My buddy did it when he worked at CT. You would be surprised where that stuff can reach without drilling holes. Creeps for a long time.

I asked before going, and they have been a dealer for quite a few years now.

Wow! Fluid film did great! I'm assuming that gets sprayed on yearly? I might try and do it myself and use that. I've never undercoated before; are there certain areas I should not spray with fluid film? Or can I just go wild underneath the truck? Also, the underside needs to be sprayed down thoroughly first to get rid of any dirt/chemicals from the road, correct?

I was thinking about spraying my frame/chassis with some clearcoat. Is that a bad idea?

I had mine sprayed with Krown as soon as I got the truck, I was on the fence about drilling and then said F*** it and let them do it. What can it hurt? The Krown will displace any moisture that may be hiding in nooks and crannys. I was concerned about the Krown having a negative affect on the adhesives that hold the truck together. I was assured by the owner that their product won't hurt anything. It's been almost a year and no negative affects. And my truck still looks like the day it was built underneath, despite being exposed to a salty Nova Scotia winter. And... I can honestly say that I am jealous of your Syclone..... Always loved those, and the Typhoon

Avoid your brake rotors/calipers, electrical connections, and possibly exhaust. Some people spray the exhaust and let it burn off.

Pre-painting any bare metal gives one more layer of protection.

Fluid Film and Amsoil seem to agree with rubber but Boeshield turns it white.
