Default True or False

I read somewhere that it you have a crew cab 6.5 box and max tow that the truck was built with the HDPP frame.
Any truth to this?

Maybe. Best way to know is look at the sticker on your frame.

It depends....
I have a supercrew 6.5 with max tow and my frame is the HD, not HDPP.
As the others said, there is white sticker on the frame, under your driver side door. It will tell you.

See here for the possibilities....

There is a tag on the frame but it just has a bunch of numbers on it that don't mean anything to me.

Look above the barcode. You should see something like this:
4x4 C/C HD MINI 145.00

HD is the frame type and 145. Is obviously the wheel base. This is on my 16my XLT SCREW 2.7eco 4X4, tow package (not the one with TBC.)

You have piqued my curiosity. I have RCSB with factory tow package. Will it be a LD or HD? Tomorrow I shall look.

I'm not sure how much I trust the table that was posted.

Here's the decal on my 2019 Supercrew Platinum 4x4 145" wheelbase. This would indicate it has the HPP frame and my trim level isn't available with the HDPP.

Frame measures different thickness depending on where the measurement is taken. However, at the rear of the RH frame rail, mine measures slightly thicker than .108"
