Default Transmission temp missing

My 2013 Ford F1 50 used to give a exact digital temperature of your transmission. My 2016 F150 lariat only gives me the dummy light not a number Am I missing something or not doing something correct?

Anyone with 2016 have a numerical number for transmission temp? Or just this gauge?

Not certain but likely a Ford change for 2016, just like the removal of gallons of fuel used, on trip A and B display. Instead of fuel gallons used, they replaced it with trip miles, I think, according to another post.

DTE shown twice!

That sucks. So no way to tell the temp. Just a normal or too hot gauge. I really like knowing the number when towing.

Oh wow, that's a dumb change. I like seeing the fuel used since fillup and over the last month.

Really I wish they would do like Garmin and let you select your fields for those pages. Trip time is not really that interesting to me ever. With the 4" screen, i'd like to replace that with DTE. There is also no reason why we should only get two trip pages either. Why not let someone have as many as they like within reason?

Dear programmers,(5 star etc)

Please find a way to add reasonably close numbers to the gauges...temp, boost..etc.

How cool would that be?

I wonder if you enter the "Engineering mode" if it will display an actual temp number? I think it does but I can't remember, if that's the case I would think it would be a relatively simple programming thing.

Could it be on the tab to the left of your fuel/trip screen?

I know on my '15 XLT with the smaller screen, it is on the page above the fuel/trip and I just have to cycle through to see it...digital speedo, tire pressures, etc are on that tab too...
