It is possible to do a convoy track but you will need to use your dealer's login and password on the shipping company website to do it. My salesman gave me his login and password because he got tired of me bugging him. If I did not just buy two vehicles from him in six months I doubt he would of gave me that info. It is possible to track but I would not hold my breath on your dealer giving you that info.

 

Mine did not show up on the system till it started moving.

So my truck went into TRANSIT on COTUS site. I live in Central Pa and its 370 miles to Dearborn Mi. Anyone know if my truck will be placed onto a train or be semi transported the whole way.

 

when i called i got "DELIVERED IN INTERCHANGE" i believe this means it's at a temporary yard waiting to go to the main rail yard. i thought for upstate NY they all go thru Selkirk, but i'm not sure. found out if you're in upstate ny (near albany) they go to mechanicville ny rail yard and are trucked from there

 

It should go entirely by transport but no grantees.

I am a similar issue to what it seemed like Bob was having. My railcar is LD4574 (Norfolk Southern) but I get no update available when I call. Any ideas?

 

Check that your rail car number is correct is the only thing I can think of.

TexasForever6. I agree with Bob, Your rail car ID# is incorrect. Should start with something like (TTGX) A, TTGX is a type of rail car, fully enclosed bilevel with fixed deck.

this was an awesome way to track my truck without being a PITA to anyone, My Truck was PLACED with customer today, now 80km truck ride to my dealer

 

When I asked my dealer for a Visibility Report, instead of a rail car number under the "Secondary" heading it only said this: "Arrived at Intermediate Point (Union Pacific Railroad." Then in the Location column it said: "Nplawest, NE."


They said they don't have a rail car number.
