Our springs are 3'" wide and most are only 2.5".

Stiffler bars are about to release some for the 2015 very soon and from what I have read are very well built and don't make any noise. Well suited to street driven trucks.

There are some different mount methods with different mfgs that work better for off road oriented ppl.

Patiently waiting.

my 16 is too new to know for sure, but how bad is the axle wrap on the F150? That would be one, if not the main, reason to install traction bars. Typically, lifted or trucks with increased HP would see a benefit over stock.
They do look cool tho!

I will be installing a supercharger on the truck this year and I was considering putting traction bars on. Plus they do look very cool on a lifted truck. But i am in no way wanting any negative issues with noise or squeaking.

update* i bought some wider 3" u bolts and used them to install the hellwig traction bars. axle wrap is eliminated. it makes a huge difference, like i have a completely different suspension back there.
2 best suspension mods you can do to your f150 are hellwig traction bars and hellwig rear sway bar

Hellwig makes a set of Traction Springs (2003 part #) for the 3" wide leaf springs. Their tech support team helped me work with SDTrucksprings, to get a set ordered for my 2014 STX. They should arrive today, and I was planning to do a write-up, once I get them on later this week.

So... my springs arrived today. I got them installed. It's cold and raining here, so no chance to really tell how much they help. Maybe tomorrow, if it's dry. FYI - the springs are 2 1/4" wide. The 2003 part kit (is also labeled EZ-550 on the box), has the 3" u-bolts, versus smaller u-bolts in the other kits. (The springs are the same.)

Keep us posted seems like a very low tech way, but if it works it is cheap enough to give it a shot.
