I have been holding on to my old wheels/tires to have a shop move the sensors over to my new setup, but it may not be worth it if a new set is really just $25.

 

There have been many issues with the ebay sensors. Probably stale batteries. Roll the dice if you feel lucky. The batteries are supposed to be good for up to 10 years so keep that in mind.

 

They seem to be OEM though ... are they batteries replaceable? Like a cr2032?

 

I bought some OEM tpms's off ebay, been over 2 years and still good. They were about $50 for all four. That ad you posted shows price per sensor, not 25 for all 4 but 25 each.

 

I thought that at first as well, but if you read on it clearly states that the ad is for four sensors as pictured. Too good to be true?

 

I bought 4 OEM sensors for $50 on Ebay and one ended up being a dud. FWIW, I'd probably roll the dice and do it again.

 

Mine work for about 10 minutes then random tires drop off, beware.

 

I bought an OEM TPMS set off ebay for $25 or $35 last year and had discount tire install them whenever I got new wheels/tires through them. They still work perfect and they installed for free, would recommend.

 

Have purchased from Amazon and Ebay and got a 25% failure rate from each. At the price offered I figured 3 sets of cheap vs the cost of 1 OEM so could be a deal. Problem, the only real good way to test is after installation and drive time. Unless your set up to change your own tires that can be an added cost and hassle.
I disabled TPMS with FORScan and check with a gauge. KM

 

Oh yeah looked at it closer, so buying 4 would actually get you 16 sensors
