Default Tow mirror issues

I have a 2020 FX4 that has factory power folding mirrors w/blind spot/cross traffic/collision warning/ backup camera/tow assist systems. Fiesta Ford sold me a new set of of power tow mirrors with manual telescoping and now my blind spot & cross traffic displays fault every time I start my truck. I also think the collision warning is now inoperative. Im going to order a set of the over priced OEM tow mirrors (power folding/power telescoping with blind spot sensors). Will I need anything additional parts wise beyond a switch panel to make the new mirrors totally operational? And have all the safety features work before I order the new mirrors. I will be selling both sets of mirrors

Blind Spot and Cross traffic use cameras in the mirror. Does the tow mirror have these? You have to match all the features in replacement mirrors for them to work.

Default Tow mirrors

Thank you, I’m ordering OEM mirrors with those features. My question is my truck has power folding switch, but not the power extension switch. I know I have to order a new switch cluster to make that work the, but I don’t know nor did the parts department if the current module will work in conjunction for the power extension

Everything will work, with possibly the exception of power telescoping, you will need to possibly run some wires for that if they do not yet exist. I would install everything 1st and if it does not operate the telescoping portion, then look into which wires you need to run in this thread

If your truck has the Technology Package w/360* cameras you may want to read this:

I do not have cameras in my tow mirrors and the Cross traffic and BLISS still work, I think you are mistaken unless the 2020 has a different setup than the 2015's.

You are correct, my brain-fart was thinking 360º view. BLIS has RADAR modules in the tail lamps, cross-traffic uses a camera in the grill if I'm not mistaken (this time around).
