Default Total height

I'm looking at putting a 4 in. lift in my 2016 f150 truck with ether 33 or 35 in tires. My garage door is exactly 7 foot tall and I would really like to keep my truck in there. Can someone tell me what the height of the top of their cab is with these two combinations? Thanks

That will be pretty tight to fit it into the garage. I have a supercrew with short bed, and I was driving my truck for about a month before I did the gen 2 Raptor suspension. On a leveling kit on 35" tires with a 2.5" block (basically an additional 1.25" of rear height), from the tip of the antenna to the ground, I was 6 foot and 9". From the back of the cab where the third brake light is mounted, to the ground, it was 7 foot and 5 inches.

It's gonna be close but you might make it. As a point of reference, my truck has the 2.25" levelling kit and 33" tires and stands 77" tall. So with a 4" lift, you'll be around 81" if you have 33" tires. Probably 83" with the 35" tires. And your garage is 84" tall.

Math is not my strong suit but you might just make it.

My garage is 83" tall and I parked it under the opening and measured 6" clearance between the cab and the top of the entrance.

Hope this helps.

I had the same worries as you. Same garage height (actually I am around 83" or so). I have a 2016 FX4 with 5.0 and just got a BDS 4" lift. After the lift and before new wheels/tires I came home to measure. With the stock 275-55r20's (~32" tire) on my truck I still have 3 inches until I touch the lowest part of my garage door to the highest point of my cab.

I am about to purchase 35x11.50r20's (BDS recommended size with the wheels that I am more than likely purchasing). The 3" difference between the two should only measure about 1.5" or so in noticed height difference. Even if I get 2" more height out of the tires, compared to stock, I should still have 1" of clear space.

Don't forget to watch out for the garage door opener hardware if you have one.

True. I have three car tandem but did notice that if it was a one car or if I wanted to park in the middle that I would need to cut quite a bit of the unused part of the arm on the opener.

Don't know what your driveway looks like but you my need to allow for ice and snow build up in front of the garage in your calculations. It'll be here before you know it.

Sounds like it's time for a compressor so you can let the air out of the tires!
