Default Tool/Crap Storage in bed

So I plan to have a MX4 cover and the bakbox 2 is obviously super nice, but very pricy... also likely plan to install the bedrug mat over the spray in liner. With both of those in mind, what's everyone's opinions of just using plastic storage containers to throw stuff in to keep organized in the truck bed? Seems like a super cheap option to keep things mostly tidy. Only plan to keep a basic tool kit, jumper cables, drop hitch, etc. Anyone have any other good ideas on how to store stuff or items that would be useful to keep in truck.

Thru any dealer or just if purchased direct? Have any more info on this?

Edit: Note I found the rebate, but it expired Sept 30 and was for Canada only

Undercover Swing Box

I personally keep on these in the bed with a tie down over it.

I do exactly what you describe. I have a couple of plastic bins (Plano off of Amazon) that I keep exactly what your describing as well...jumper cables, receiver hitch, first aid kit, etc.

I have a short bed Scew so it takes a little space up, but I don't regularly have the bed filled anyway.

I like those a lot, but the mx4 sits ~ 20" above the bed and if I put a 3/4" bedrug in there, I don't think those would fit under the cover.

These seem nice, no wheels, but still nice.
