Default Tire Recommendation

So I recently had some Toyo Open Country at2 xtreme version in a 285/75r17 on my 2018 F150 Crew cab 4wd. Have 1k miles on them and they are just to loud for me/my family. Most of our driving is highway of course. I would still like to use an at tire but will likely step down to a 285/70r17. I was looking at either the new cooper at3 xlt or yokohama geolandar at g015 since the tread designs seem to be more road friendly. Anyone have experience with these tires or other recommendations? Thank you.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you on that, but was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I have been considering the Cooper at3 xlt 285/75/17 and was wondering why you are stepping down to 285/70r17? Also what setting are you running on your 5100's? Thanks

The Michelin LT tires always work well for me, quiet on the highway and have a very long life.

The only reason I am stepping down is to give me more options for other tires and to save a lottle bit on weight. I have my bilsteins set at the 1.76 setting and with the oem 17's there is plenty of clearance. However if you have front mudflaps some modication to the mudflaps would be required. I am not sure on what clearance there would be on aftermarket wheels though.

I have yokohama Geolanders on my new to me 2016 Lauriat Screw. I think they are smooth as hell but only have had the truck a week. My 2004 F150 was my last ride. 26k miles on truck ,aftermarket obviously.

4.6.....Thanks for the info.
I'm staying with stock wheels. 1.75 was what I was thinking also.
Looking forward to some more answers to your questions, as they are important to me also.

I'm happy with my Falken Wildpeak 33's. They perform to expectation and look very good imho. Gas mileage will suffer, but i didn't buy a truck for mileage.

My opinion isn't terribly popular, but I've actually been pretty happy with the OEM Hankook Dynapro ATs. They are better off-road than your average highway tire, are quiet, and have good on-road traction.
