Default Time slip

Ran the truck last night, it's bone stock, just had it's first oil change. Has a 91 octane tune for our Kali crap gas, from Shawn at SSI. Can I get this logged in the 1/4 mile section? Do we still have one here, (I haven't been on the forum for a month of Sundays).

2015 Ford F150 Supercab 4x4, 3.5 Ecoboost, 3.31 gears, SSI tune only.

Outstanding.

Tell us about your launch? 2WD? 4A? 4H? Do you have/use the locking differential?

Brake/throttle? Hold the brake and rev to ?? rpm?

Launched in 4wd with elec. locker engaged. Yes, boosted launch, held the brake with some throttle.

It definitely is, that was running into a STIFF headwind is why. Could feel the push on the truck esp. after the 1/8 mile!

Bud you need to call Street Outlaws & tell them you have the FASTEST BONE STOCK 3.5 EcoBoost in the country. I personally know people that have 2wd Xcab 3.5 Eco's with 93 octane tunes, exhaust & intake running almost 1/2 second slower than you....& that's not into a headwind. Please give me the direct name & contact number of your tuner as I have A LOT of people that will stand in line to pay for a tune that will make a stock truck run low 13's.

There are 11-14' trucks running this with only a tune so a lighter truck with same engine and tune should be very plausible. Not sure why you are so skeptical... The tune can make a huge difference and from what I understand for sown reason the '15 3.5 is more finicky is taking to a tune and consistenly producing good results. I'm sure over time that will change....

So what are the tuned 2.7 trucks running? Can those get into the low 14s or better?

I'm just really impressed by the numbers. All the stock 2015 Xcab Eco's I've seen run about 14.20's bone stock....just impressed he can drop 1 full second off a 1/4 mile time with tune only. Maybe everyone I'm watching can't drive worth a crap.....lol The 2.7 in bone stock trim gives the 3.5 everything it wants to handle up until about 1000ft mark where the 3.5 comes flying by because of it's superior HP numbers. But off the line the 2.7 actually pulls a little on the 3.5, it's kinda funny to watch. The 3.73 gears of the 2.7 give it a slight advantage off the line, along with being slightly lighter. But in the end the 3.5 comes screaming past on the top end.

If I didn't have the tires and lift on here I'd like to test my 93 perf tune to see. I give the truck and tune credit, but a lot of these times depend on the driver. Dude knows what he's doing off the line.

Put me in that same truck and I might run 15s.
