Is now a good time to buy a new truck ? I can get a 502 a Lariat with in Lead foot color with everything I need for 10k under list . They are giving me 24k for my 2015 502a lariat with 108k on it . Does this sound like a good deal

Probably better deals to be had on the 2020's in December. I would expect a 2021 to cost that much in about 6 months or so. But if you don't want a 2021 and the extra 5k or so savings isn't a dealbreaker then you can take the plunge whenever you're ready.

In the end it's your money, your decision, so if you would be genuinely happy buying it now rather than waiting and you aren't going to put yourself if a negative situation financially, then go for it.

YES, sound like a good deal. Right now is a very good time to buy. Waiting later for a few more incentives might cost you the truck you want.

Wait too long and that truck won't be available.

I took delivery of a custom build order Sept. 4th and was able to get the truck for $11K off MSRP. and got a good trade in price also.

In the past I have waited until December only to find out there was nothing left on the lots I wanted.

I say go for it and don't worry about waiting for the elusive "super great deal".

P.S. - your name and email are in the attachment.

Good luck, Paul

I drove a 2.7 and a 3.5 back to back and there is not much difference at all . The 2.7 is faster than my 15 3.5 lol

I am not sure what your inventory is in the US but here (Northern Ontario Canada) the dealer has no trucks, none, zippo. I was chatting with my guy there the other day (unrelated as I am not shopping) and he said if you want an XLT, you need to order it and you get the choice of four colours - that's it. Delivery in months. If you want a Lariat or above, you need to wait for 2021. Either way, you would pay full fare for the truck. GM lots are scarce as well but there was a bunch at the Dodge dealer that I drove by this morning. If you need it, I wouldn't wait too long.

It sounds like a good deal. I traded my '17 for a '20 in April and and went pretty darn low with the offer and they took it. Most dealers are wanting to move inventory right now.

If you really want to do the work check out this thread https://www.f150forum.com/f118/just-...e-paid-295614/ and the master https://www.f150forum.com/members/toptobottom-262552/ will let you know for sure.

If you're not interested in a '21, and you are happy with the deal, go for it. Inventory of the 20's will not get better.

I recently traded my 18 XLT for a 20 Lariat. Got 10K off the Lariat, and a very good trade in value on my XLT. I wanted a Lariat when I bought the 18 XLT, and by the time that I made up my mind, the truck that I wanted was sold. With the current market value on used vehicles, I finally was able to get what I wanted at a price that I could be happy with. My advice is if the 20 is the truck that you really want, don't second guess yourself and lose out on it like I did 2 years ago.

2021s have taken a big price hike.
