Default Is there a thread on dislikes?

Ok I know it is a brand new truck but the first thing I found I disliked is.

There is no TPMS sensor in the spare tire. I like to have a 5 tire rotation done every 5 or 6 thousand miles. On my Toyota FJ and my Wifes Jeep Wrangler it was/is as simple as rotating the tires and driving it a few miles and the TPMS system learned the new locations of the tires. I was told by the service manager the spare doesn't have a TPMS sensor in it. So now I am back to a 4 tire rotation and a spare that goes bad because of age or being in the salt belt to long. OK if there is a dislike thread just add this to it if not then?

Why would you want to do a 5 tire rotation? It's a cheap crappy tire on a steel rim.

there is a whole section for what people dislike on their 2015... you're right in it, "2015 F-150".
90% of the threads are people bitching about one thing or the other!!

There hasn't been a spare tire on a good rim for a very long time on F-150s and other vehicles, this is not new for 2015. For that matter, many models have a spare that is SMALLER than the wheels that come with the truck. Nothing new here.

I know it is a cheap tire on a steel rim. I hate the idea I buy a tire put it under the truck and forget about it. Then one day two or three years from now I need it and discover the road salt has rusted the rim and the air is low on the spare tire now I need a tow. Why not use a good rim and do 5 tire rotations and all the tire wear pretty even.

What I dislike is mine was built weeks ago and has not shown up. What a POS!

Note: Sarcasm people! I'm just trying to fit in with the rest of the posts on this forum.

I know I had a 2010 and had a flat on the way to work, when I went for the spare it was flat also. I traded the 10 off a few years ago and got used to a full size spare on a good rim with TPMS in it from the Wrangler. The FJ didn't have any TPMS but a full size spare on a good rim. Heck my Shelby does not have a spare at all just an air pump and a thing of slime.

First the guy saying Ford lacked on the platinum because the leather rear seat has fabric on it where the seat sections rub and now this? COME ON! This is my first Ford truck; came from a Nissan Titan and a Chevy before, as well as a Ford Fusion.. I drive a Ford SUV for work.. Ford made the F-150 an amazing truck.. All the thought that went into it, yes, including the fabric so leather doesn't rub leather when folding up the rear seat.. The new technology in this thing.. Everything about this truck is absolutely amazing. We need to stop nit-picking the tiny details that aren't even bad and just enjoy this thing. I have never seen anyone rotate in the spare tire and I agree with the above post; it's a dirty tire on a steel wheel - It's a SPARE!

Using the spare in a 5-wheel rotation used to be standard operating procedure. FWIW, my Land Rover that stickered for almost $10k less than my F150 includes a full size, matching spare that can be rotated with the other tires.

This isn't exactly an unheard of thing.

You just compared a Land Rover to a truck. I can do the 5-wheel rotation on my Jeep because the spare matches but I have yet to own a truck where the spare matches. When my truck arrives it will be my 23rd vehicle and so far my Jeep, and only my Jeep was capable of a 5-wheel rotation. They call it a SPARE for a reason ffs.
