IMHO it would not be worth it, the wood is subtle, most people don't even notice it as it is stained to be color matching. But, it is wood so getting vinyl, leather, or anything else to stick to it would be simple.

Same, I thought the massage option was a gimmick, took a 2400km trip (14 hours continuous driving each way) and had the massage function on multiple times. I now throw it on at least once a week.

On the Platinum you get the awesome platinum colored plastic banner on the tailgate that says Platinum. It makes you go faster and get better MPGs.

Same with 2019. All the higher-optioned trucks on the lot included the chrome package, and the tailgate billboard. Mine has it.

A well optioned Lariat 502A with Tech Package (like my truck) is very similar to the Platinum less the badging and Multi-Contour front seats.
What are these scuff plates you speak of? I have a platinum and unless I'm misunderstanding what you're talking about, mine aren't lighted

The scuff plates are at the bottom of the door opening. My mistake, only the Limited has lighted ones.

Oh ok, yea that's what I thought you were referring to but mine definitely aren't. Thanks for the response.

You can get a Lariat without the fake wood. My Lariat has the carbon fiber accents because it's a sport.
