Newbie to this forum. Love my 2015 F150 crew cab. The plastic cap that covers the step ladder insert in the tailgate got ripped off. Trying to find the part # for the plastic cap so I can buy a new one. Not having much luck finding that info online. Would greatly appreciate some feedback from all you fellow Ford F150 owners. Thanks in advance.

 

Ditto, I mangled mine with some hiking boots the other day. I didn't have the hand "rail" up and just hopped down and the tread of my shoes caught that piece and ripped it off.

 

It's a weak point, I think. Mine came off while pulling a pallet out of the bed. I just smacked it back into place, but it's missing a retention pin or two now.

I don't think so. For the tail gates that have the step ladder built in to them, I am looking for the black plastic cap that sits on top of the tailgate covering the ladder top. Thanks for your response though.

 

There is a thread with part numbers. I'll try to find it.
