tailgate step
another vote for it!
it makes all the difference between "taking a giant step up to the bumper / tailgate, ripping out my jeans' crotch in the process and hoping I can lift my out-of-shape self up" and a 1-2 step on the step and up the tailgate.
Much safer to load / unload boxes without having to put them down and slide them too.
My Tacoma was OK without a step, no chance I would not have one on a F150.

If you will ever make repeated trips into the bed, the step is a very nice feature!
I was on the fence about it, but am now happy I got it. It makes loading and unloading the bed much easier.

My Platinum has it, but I haven't used it. Too embarrassed using it when I could easily use the rear bumper to hop in. I had a newer model Silverado whose bumper step I really enjoyed. Other than that, I like my Ford much better.
I understand if someone is going in and out of the truck bed more than once (loading/unloading), but if I'm just going back there to get something real quick then I feel like it'll be faster to just use the bumper. No offense meant.
