I am glad my truck doesn't have a remote switch to drop the tailgate. I could just see myself accidentally hitting the switch i a parking lot and dropping the tailgate onto the hood of whatever car might be parked behind me. This truck is big enough already; I don't need a switch to instantly make it two feet longer!

You're right, but it doesn't work when the engine is running....go figure. It only works when the ignition is off. The keyfob works the same way as the F150 though.

Safety!

So you are not cruising down the highway, accidentally hit the button and the tailgate opens, and your load falls out into traffic.

Should deactivate when in drive.

Also, why isn’t there an option for rear camera while driving????

So, maybe push the button on the fob before pocketing the damn thing?

There is, until you reach 5mph (I think it's 5).

I think any mistake you could make with a button on the dash you can do with the key fob. It depends on how attentive the drive
is.
I would like a tailgate button were the parking brake is and move the brake up to the center console since I use the brake daily.
