Got my light in the mail today, likely be a week or so before I get on. I did trim off the tabs and the plastic around the pigtail.
Did you remove your tailgate when you did yours?

Does anybody have the Ford part# for these on the current F-350 duellys? I would think the tailgate spacing would be the same. The GM unit looks nice but would rather use the Ford lights if they'll fit.
I don't have the number but some googleing will be able to get you one, and if the ford light is anything over 1/2" bigger than the gm unit chances are it will not fit, its a very tight fit with the gm unit.
Maybe the GM part is thinner......the hole for the tailgate gets in the way too. Also, can any of these be installed with 3M double stick tape like the full tailgate light bars?

You could definitely do the double sided tape, I used the screws because of all the debris and what not that falls between the bed and the tailgate when you are taking things out of your bed, like mulch and dirt and rocks that falls down I don't want anything to knock it loose
I dont know how much I like these...but thats me.
Im not sure most are aware but these three center marker lights are required on vehicles ( and trailers) that exceed 80 inches in width.
Both original pics by OP show duallies.
