I'm more of an old guy these days and that enclosed tailgate step really comes in handy.

I have the tailgate step and I've never used the AMP step (I had to look it up). Based on what I can see from the AMP step, I don't think it would be as natural for loading and unloading the bed. It would be something I would add if I didn't have the tailgate step, but it's almost granny smith vs red delicious (sort of apples to apples, but not really).

The OEM tailgate step provides a nice natural step that I can go up and down without support (I don't deploy the helper bar).

Just my opinion.

FYI: Amp Bedstep for a 2015 F150 is currently $224 at Summit (free shipping), NOT including the $50 mail-in rebate from AMP (Lund). Rebate runs through the end of March. $174 is pretty cheap. Easy install. Works great.
