Logged into myfordsync website, connected to my truck. Went in to check for an update and says I have the latest version installed. But I'm reading v3.8 is the lastest. Can somewhere clear this up for me and provide a solution? Don't think I have the siri eyes free version. Because she doesn't do anything I ask her in the truck?

 

I think with Sync 2 you need to download the update and install yourself. Sync 3 will download updates via WiFi

Version 3.8 is the most recent software for the MyFord Touch system. The update isn't available online at this time; however, a dealer will be able to do the installation.

I find it strange that its not available online since it was at one time ... I updated to v3.8 last april online at owner.ford.com

All dealers have access to install this update. There shouldn't be any issues.

There isn't an ETA on whether it will be available again. What year is your vehicle?

The update was removed from accounts. Some vehicles with navigation experienced issues with the online version.
