I recently purchased a '15 F-150 with Sync2...I believe I've update to the most recent software.

It appears there is no way to get navigation on the screen at all anymore? Is that true or am I just completely missing something?

 

Check the microSD card . Should be in the center forward console with the two sbd connectors, or if its gone try Ebay or AMAZON for the latest card.

 

If you have the word "Information" in the green banner in the upper right corner then your SYNC 2 does not have navigation at all. If it had navigation and is just missing the SD card it will say "Insert SD Card" in that banner and have an SD card error on the screen when you start the truck.

 

Yes, it just says Information and when I click it it says something about Ford Sync Services but apparently that doesn't exist anymore

. So there's literally no way to get NAV (without any crazy modification,etc.) How is it possible that a car just a few years old that used to be able to have navigation cannot anymore? Something seems wrong with that picture.

 

Does the vehicle have the 8 in screen and the compass in the right upper area? If so, then you must activate it the navigation feature with forscan.

 

Did it have Nav when you bought it? How did you know it used to be able to have navigation?

 

Yes, it has 8in screen with compass. Got your PM, will take a look at all of that.

 

It just has the big screen with a navigation option...but when you click that, it says you need to activate Ford Sync Services or something like that....but then when you try to do that, apparently that doesn't exist/isn't supported anymore.

 

To be honest, the nav stinks!

 

Hey the navi is not that bad. Does the job and did not pay the 700.00 for the ACM update some sites are asking.
