Default SYNC w/MyFord Touch on XLT functionality?

I picked up my XLT a couple weeks ago. I have the 301a package but paid the extra $450 for the MyFord Touch 8in screen. Details clearly state "dual zone Elec Climate Control" but I do not seem to have this functionality on mine. Going in for the 1500 mile check up soon and going to bring it up. But wondering if others have this option or not? Maybe they can add it with a software update. Thanks.

I think they made a mistake. It is not available. I remember another thread about it

Dont remember a time that xlt had dual zone electric climate control. Always had to go to lariat plus. They consider it a luxury option and a xlt series is not considered a luxury truck series by ford.

Not saying this is how it should be, rather just that it is this way.

They have to differentiate their model series by both standard and available equipment or why buy the higher series.

Yup I find this sucks as I love auto climate control and have had it in my last 3 trucks. That being said I just ordered a 15 xlt sport 302a and unfortunately no option for auto climate control. Not willing too spend thousands more for a lariet. Auto is available on lower based silverado and ram.

That's pretty ****ty of ford if they can't fixed their website six months into the launch. Clearly shows the dual climate with mytouch. Never did I get anything from the rep with specific functionality of all the options chosen. Went by what was on the website. What are we supposed to do, ask for the engineering specs to make sure we get what the marketing materials say we are getting?

Does anyone know if the mechanisms are in place for the auto dual climate control? If so, I bet a letter from a lawyer will get the software update installed or at least my $450 back. Btw, a truck with a $45,000 msrp is a luxury pick up in my book, sure ain't no stripped down 20k work truck.

The issue is that Ford needs to fix their website so their information is accurate. The issue of not being able to get it in an XLT is a different issue.
