Update: Apparently the Sync website is still experiencing issues. The progress wheel has been spinning for about 10 minutes now using IE...The website works perfectly for FireFox, but I can't upload my .xml file. I can upload the file to IE, but the website is being sh*tty...FML...

Were you able to get it to work? If not, please run that Vehicle Health Report. It will confirm the update to the site.

I still wonder if Ford's Sync website was designed by the same cut-rate group of incompetents that designed the original MyFordTouch/Sync 2 vehicle system. Starting in late 2010 for my 2011 MKX, I was never able to download an update from there (I have found updates elsewhere and had the dealer install one or two though they generally want $$ to do so). I haven't had the stomach yet to try again to update my F150 - the last time the site refused to believe I could have a second Ford vehicle with Sync2 so no soup/updates for me.

 

I guess I'll have to do it this way, because the progress wheel on the Sync website just spins and spins. Thanks.
