Love it. One reason I don't ever want a newer truck. I like this Sync works perfect and I can update my maps for less than $30 from ebay.
Maps on my phone update automatically, all the time, for free...right down to routing me around construction road closures where the vehicle maps are never going to have that. Also traffic, live traffic that constantly updates and it will change routes on the fly to avoid accident or gameday backups.

Why pay for outdated maps when you can get up to date for free?

I don't use my phone for mapping. Matter of fact I have never ever connected my phone to the truck at all. Just not into that. I find Google maps not to be perfect either and I would not touch an apple.

Honestly I prefer a Garmin portable GPS.

Living in a HIGH traffic area, I cannot live without Google traffic overlays. It can and has saved me hours to my destination. I am happy with Google maps on my phone on a magnetic CD tray phone holder. I also have unlimited data on the phone.

Well, that's the answer...you are ignorant to what you're missing

Same. Driving through high traffic areas, interstates that get lanes shut down (or entirely shut down) due to accidents, etc, the live re-routes for traffic are sort of a godsend

I can understand that... I live in a small town in Florida don't have those problems. I have lived near Atlanta would never ever do that again. My work pays for my travel 28 on and 28 off. I can live wherever I want. I would not pick busy areas and also would charge me income tax. LOL

I would move overseas if I can talk the wife into it... There is alof of very nice cheap living areas out there. I been to alot of them.

Atlanta area traffic is precisely where I benefit most. You know that traffic is no joke eh lol

And because Google is so creepily in tune with tracking and analyzing all our movements, half the time I get in and plug my phone in, the quick list of destinations with color coded ETAs includes my intended destination, so I don't even have to do anything besides plugging the phone in (good for charging anyway) to see how good/bad traffic is to my destination
