Default Sync acting up

Well, I started the truck up this morning and only my navigation works, all other touch screen buttons are gone. The radio works (XM Satellite) but I can't change stations. Also, the rear view camera would randomly start playing while moving forward and then I'd get an occasional black screen before it would go back to just the Navi screen. On start up and shut down the "Ford" logo doesn't come up either. Not really sure what is going on? Possible update just updating and I'll get all functions back maybe? Or is the Sync computer kickin' the bucket? Anyone else have this issue?

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and see if it resets and reboots correctly.

Or just unplug the Sync Fuse that will be located behind the passenger side kick panel instead of rendering your vehicle useless. It will make Sync reset once powered back up. Or you could try the Sync reset procedure with two button presses, but this will vary on you trucks options, usually CD Eject and Right seek IIRC.

No CD player on my 2019.

Do you have a picture of which fuse is the Sync one?

While you are left "useless" for a few minutes, the battery removal also resets the trans another added benefit.

I'm tuned so my trans is already better than stock. Just flashed a revision about a week ago. It's just now getting nice and smooth as it gets through the learning. You are right though, if I wasn't then it's definitely a benefit.

Volume Power button and Right seek will run the Sync reboot. Fuse #32 on interior fuse panel.

Thank you. I'm hoping when I get into my truck after work it'll work like it should.

I've had the same issue here and there since I bought the truck new. I hold the volume power and seek forward buttons down simultaneously for about 6 seconds and it does a hard reset on sync. I think the culprit is a specific radio station (I have no idea why). I stopped listening to that station and I haven't had sync freeze once since. I went back to that radio station last week and sync froze up within seconds. Weird.
