Default Sync 3 Updates and Android Auto

Man, so to the person who helps me solve this issue my first born or all my gold. I bought a 2016 Ford F150 King Ranch from a used dealer a few weeks ago. I am a technically savy guy, I had some trouble going from Sync 3 version 1.0 to Sync 3 version 3.0 but after getting some advice via reddit I got it working on a long road trip.

Here's my problem now. I can't find Android Auto. I have this on my phone. I have successfully used Android Auto on a rental car with zero issues. The problem is it's not in my settings and not on my regular menu. Has anyone else had this issue? I can't figure this out to save my life. I am honestly on the verge of returning the vehicle because of this issue alone. I don't want a busted APIM.

Did you find it under Sync "settings"? Swipe to the left, then Android Auto. There should be a toggle...

It's been a few months since I did this, and also forgive me if you did all of this already: update Android Auto on the phone, and the phone has to be plugged into the USB. It should just appear, and swipe as Gatorguy describes above.

Pair your phone to your truck via BlueTooth. You only need the USB cable if you run Google Maps or Waze. AA will pop up when your phone is paired, if it doesn't there's an issue.

Man working offshore now but I scrolled all the way down in my settings menu and nothing. Is there a swipe left option, if so wow. I was thinking since I went from 1.0 to 3.0 I didn't get the 2.x updates maybe? Is that a thing?

Try a different cable. It should just pop up. On the phone you need to give it permission. Does your phone charge from the USB ports.

Look in settings and find AA make sure it is enabled.

I went from V1 to V3 sync and never had a problem.

The permission windows doesn't even give me a prompt. The problem is there is zero option (unless I'm totally blind to it) in my settings. Wonder if anyone has a picture of the android auto tile in their settings menu? Someone said swipe left, I was under the impression it was just an up and down menu.
