Angry Sync 3 is junk

The new Sync 3 is junk. Ford knows all the issues exists and admits it when you talk to their Sync Experts on the phone.
Yet they keep selling them without any concern if it works or not.

Dealer has done 45 updates and not one item repaired.

I have a helpful dealer and we pulled 4 more vehicles on the lot with Sync 3 and everyone had some of the same issues.

Where does it become illegal for a company to knowingly sell a product that is not fully functional as presented?
This is getting ridiculous when you spend $50k+ and it doesn't work

Name one other product that you would accept and keep without return, exchange and/or refund... that does not work

Mine's working ok. A lot better than the wife's U connect.

I love sync 3. It's far better than the system in my old 2014. I have no complaints here. Voice commands work great and everything works great

I'm thinking you have an iphone... Just guessing

My kids 2016 works great also... Sport Model

My 2016 Lariat is a joke, dealer is dumbfounded on what to do and Ford is giving them answers

You mind describing your specific issue? Can't imagine any dealer being that helpful. 45 updates. Not likely. Sounds fishy to me. But let's just say you aren't trolling - Sue 'em for breach of contract.

Trust me this is not a direct slam at Ford from some Chevy / Ram guy

Me and my kid both bought 16' F-150's -

This is out of total frustration with Ford that after 6 weeks, not one single answer and a multiple of issues and it seems to have at least one new issue each week or less...

It was one Update for 3 hours, over 45 items were updated as outdated during this service run

Navigation has addresses as much as a mile off
My own home is on a different street
Icons are missing from the screen according to the layout spelled out in the book and on the phone with a Ford Sync Expert
Screen has went black twice
Often sends a warning there is No Key Detected -- Often while driving...

There is more

Yep my son has no issue with the iphone -- Big issues with Galaxy and the salesman now admits his Galaxy has many issues also
