I've had a truck forever but only used it for towing and helping other people move. Have had 3 Screws since they started making them and sold my F350 screw and bought the F-150 Scab. Almost 2 years now and I don't think I've folded my rear seats down yet.

When I SO'd my truck my salesman (and friend) called me and told me he had placed the order and fixed my mistake and ordered the crew. When I told him I didn't want the crew he couldn't understand why. Easy enough.

Don't carry anymore than one passenger
Want a 6.5' bed
Want to park in a parking lot without making a 3 point (or more) turn which a 6.5 bed on a screw requires.
Fits in the garage without inching up to the front wall.
Looks much better to me
Easier for me to load my dog, groceries and golf clubs behind my seat.
I'll think of more when I hit the send button.

10-20 years a go the crew was a better fit for me. Not anymore.

My doors don't rattle. My truck has been flawless. As much as I've been thinking about an '18 I will most likely keep this one as it was indeed made just for me. Now the 2020 which I assume will be the sheet metal+ change....

Love mine, only way to have room for passengers and an 8 ft box for storage. Long wheel base runs smooth.

To each his own. I prefer a SC, but the only thing that ever goes in the back is my dog or golf clubs. In both cases, I hated the independent doors on my last Chevy, because they don't open far enough to easily get clubs in and the dog didn't have a straight shot to make the leap.

Exactly the way I feel...

I did not order my truck. But after a year and 20k miles I have not one single time wished for a SCREW. I have wished for the 36gal. tank and remote start, but I love my 2k+ payload rating.

yep, my dog kennel won't fit if my half door is opened at 90 degrees...made the 180ish degree opening very handy...and my passengers are always surprised when I fold it back so they can get in and out of parking spots easier.

This is my second super cab and and I've also owned two crew cab one ton trucks. Neither one of the super cabs had a squeaking rear door. I absolutely hate that I have to open both doors to put stuff in the back seat, but it is what it is.

I had to get the super cab because I wanted a longer bed and still needed to get into the garage. I couldn't have made the corner to the garage with the crew cab.

I really like the proportions of the super cab with the 6.5' bed over the crew cab with the 5.5' bed,

Love the super cab and the extra foot in the truck bed. Only thing I don't like is when other inconsiderate a-holes decide to park closer to me and whoever sits in the rear can't get out and have to go out the other side. Overall it's great, I usually load up the rear with groceries and whatever I can fit back there

I started out with a '98 SCab, traded for a '02 SCrew, traded for a "07 SCab, now have a '16 SCab. My son has the '07. I will stick with the SCab. Its just me and my better half now and we have more than enough room. Rear seats are still in the UP position.
