Super frustrated
Just an update...spoke to rough country, double checked everything with them and I do indeed have the correct parts. Also, rough country claims they've never heard of anyone having the problems this mechanic was having installing their simplest kit. So, in the end, the guy clearly just didn't know what he was doing even tho he claimed he'd done this kit before many times, so it is a good thing he didn't charge me for the labor...O! And on my way to work today the entire front end started grinding and vibrating so can't wait to find out if there is some correlation between that shop attempting to install my leveling kit and the front end problems. Truck is at dealership now.
love to see how bad the dealer says the other guy messed the truck up -
how come op didn’t call mechanic that attempted the install to give him a chance to look at the grinding/vibration.
o I love how everyone is a know it all on this forum. First place I brought it was back to the mechanic, he looked it over, said everything he touched was fine and that he didn't know why the grinding was happening, hence, I brought it to the dealer, who wouldn't have any knowledge of anyone touching anything in the front end, and even if they did, I bought the truck used, so warranty will be honored cause I don't know what was done to truck before I bought it used. Thank you very much. Any other brain busters?? Lol
