Default Sun Visor LED Upgrade

Upgraded stock sun visor bulbs to LEDs tonight and can't be happier. This completes the truck to full LED now after upgrading all the other non-LED bulb locations. These bulbs are bright and clean looking but not blinding and were recommended by another member here in another post that I can't remember (thanks if it was you)

Nice. What bulbs did you use for the license plates lights? I've seen so many recommendations.

Also, I assume each visor mirror takes two (one for each lens) of the LED lights, so 4 is sufficient?

I used these on license plate LEDs:
Amazon.com: Philips 194 Bright White Interior Vision LED light, 2 Pack: Automotive Amazon.com: Philips 194 Bright White Interior Vision LED light, 2 Pack: Automotive

yes, each visor takes two bulbs. If you do this, I recommend using 2 blades to pry out one side of the plastic covers (one to separate it slightly and hold, then the other to pry out the 2 tabs from the housing) I used a utility knife and the end of a steak knife.

There's 2 tabs on each side of the plastic lens cover that are in different spots on each side so take notice when re-installing

Swapped mine out today. Super easy although it's a bit unnerving popping off the plastic cover. Has anybody attempted swapping out the interior lighting to LED's? I searched but couldn't find anything.

You guys thought about upgrading the glove box and center console bulbs to LED? Both are dim to me. Bulb in console seems somewhat difficult to get at, but there has to be a way.

Anyways, I've searched but didn't find anything. My wife loves the visor light upgrade, but I wouldn't recommend flipping them down at night when driving! Those suckers are bright.

What trim gets visor bulbs? I have XLT sport and no lights in visors.

Yeah but it's great for making sure you did a good job blowing your nose or seeing if you have food stuck in your teeth
