Hey OP - Didnt read the thread but I have this and works great - plus its a 10" - fits SUPER easy behind the rear seat with plenty of room to spare.

Cerwin vega sub
I have this sub and it hits pretty good for a single 10. I did have to tap the rear speakers to get any bass out of it. The outputs from the sub connector didnt give out enough juice.

You will have a substantially better sounding system if you tap the front channels instead. The rear channels have an 80hz highpass filter applied that cannot be defeated. This means the everything below 80hz will roll off. The front channels are full frequency.

Where is the best spot to tap the fronts? Can you do it without taking off the door panels?

Your amp will run this, and it will fit behind the rear seat, allowing it to fully fold up.
Kicker Comp RT
It sounds better than the powered boxes, surprisingly good, really.
Unless you are sold on the ease of the powered set-ups. I'm not sure I would count on any long term reliability of either of those units.

I’m not sure you could get the seat to stay up with the 8in. And yes, you could easily put another one on the passenger side, once I get my swingcase and relocate my jack, I plan to do just that. I have the 4ohm version, another one in parallel will present a 2ohm load to my amp, basically doubling the power output.
