Default Steering issue

I just got back from a trip going to Hilton Head leaving from Cincinnati, OH area. I must say that my truck with the 3.5 eco boost was great for the trip. Especially with 2 kids in the back and a bed full of beach gear.

The reason for my post is to not talk about how well of a ride it was on the trip. I noticed when going through the mountains in NC and TN that when I was making a left turn that it seemed to almost stick and feel really heavy. I had to bring it back to center. When I made a right turn this was not the case. I checked my power steering fluid but it was at "max" level.

I will also mention that when I was going at slower speeds such as in the city that the steering seemed fine.

I wanted to check and see if anyone has experienced this and if so what was the problem? For reference I have a 2016 Lariat 4x4 with the 3.5 eco boost.

I am going to take it to the dealer as I only have 5k miles on it and still well within the warranty

Thanks

Don't know what trim level of truck you have,,,but does it have the lane keeping option? If yes it might of been trying to keep you from going over the clif on your right.

I think you checked the brake fluid level..

You checked the brake fluid. Lane keeping system? Maybe low air pressure in one tire?

I have the lariat but I do not have the lane keeping option on it. I checked the tire pressure and all 4 are between 36-38

You know the build date? There was a TSB out on steering problems. On early trucks.. But it was for wandering and light steering feel. Mine has no tracking problems but heavy steering at highway speeds..

Like I said it might be the lost blinker fluid that no one can find,,, but if you missed that thread shame on you... So most likely the brake master cylinder fluid container
